need turbo

need turbo

97 psd manual tranny, 4in exhaust dp tuner. I want a good turbo. Im not running injectors just yet but will eventually. What do you guys recomend and what benefits will I get from it?

d-66 or h2e seems to be the turbos of choice but to benefit from them you really need lots more fuel.
with the added fuel the larger turbo will add more air to the motor to actually use more of that extra fuel rather then just blow it out the tailpipe as black smoke

D66 gets my vote if your not planning on being a HP junkie down the road, but if you are you should save yourself the trouble and go with the H2E now because that platform will leave you lots of room to upgrade to bigger chargers in the future.

That being said Joe hit the nail on the head, you really won't see any benefit now with any bigger charger until you start runnin bigger injectors. I would dare say that the D66 would be pretty laggy with 90cc injectors as well as the H2E and turbo lag is just plain no fun. Best of luck
