Powered Side View mirrors not working

05 F350.
Anyone ever experienced the side view powered mirrors not working. When I mean not working, I move the switch from the center position to the left or right and try to adjust. Nothing happens. Does anyone know if this is a common problem? and or if anyone else has experienced this?

I assume you tried multiple different movements and none work? Mirrors iced in, by any chance?

Otherwise...Start with fuses. Fuse #13 - 5A under the dash. Beyond that, you are in electrical troubleshooting Hades. No other way to do it than to trace down the circuit looking for the fault.

On mine it's the switch, the mirrors move fine up and down but to move them side to side I have to push down on the R-L switch at the same time I am moving the lever.

Thanks for the help guys. Just purchased this truck not to long ago. #13 -5a was missing. Strange....new fuse installed power mirrors now work.

Glad to hear you found it....but I'd suspect the previous owner removed the fuse to fix a problem, so don't be surprised if some problem returns or pops up anew...

I have a similar problem with my '03 X. Both driver's and pass. side mirrors will not move to the right. Both move left, down, and up fine. I am think it can't be a fuse or wiring (assuming there is just one fuse for the mirror). Must be the switch. Anyone seen this before? Anyway to trouble shoot this without buying a new switch? Anyone know how to replace this switch?
