Hello to all, I have a '99 F-250 SD and have a lateral knock/ snap in the front suspension upon turning, L or R. Any body else have this problem? I also have upgraded the rear leafs to 350 leafs maintaining the factory blocks. Would a front spring upgrade to X springs lift too high for the std. rear blocks from a 250? Any one know the u-bolt & insulator part numbers for the front leafs? Thanks in advance, Ken.

Reason: forgot part of the question
I can't see the springs having any effect on the blocks. However, there are little pads that insulate each spring in the pack. If they are missing or warn through, they can cause some noises.
Since the noise is only in the front, I'd suspect the ball joints, sway bar bushings or something else in the steering/suspension. I would begin the diagnostics by lifting the front end and wiggling parts to find movement. If that fails, a little white lithium grease sprayed on the suspension and driven a short distance will show off metal to metal contact very well.
