Dumb Question #3 - Dash Cubby Hole
What is the purpose of the cubby hole located on the dash in an '04 F250, Supercab?

I use mine for my wallet when on long drives. It's just the right size to hold a trifold wallet.
Otherwise, that is where the upfitter switches go, if your truck was ordered with them.

i mounted my trailer brake control in there.nice and neat.drilled a hole in the back for the wire and used velcro to secure it.

Small pistols, pack of marlboros, cell phone, wallet, knife, cigars, beer caps, tom tom while he is charging, extra magazine for AK-47, etc.
I put friction mat in the bottom of mine so stuff dont fall out when i accelerate. That cubby is sweet, my 86 and 89 had one too.

That is a good idea, I hate it when I romp on it and all the stuff flies out in the floor.
