When you guys are saying it idles great at these really low temps, it makes me think that there is a little something off with my 07. If I don't have it plugged in and it is in the 20's it sounds like crap right when it first starts then it idles fine just louder after about 2 seconds.
Mine takes about 15 to 30 seconds to smooth out. I have a remote starter. I hit the starter, pour the coffee, put on jacket, walk to truck. She is running smooth, no smoke by then, and can pull straight out with no problems.
I have the inductive flash, 5w40 rotella. I do not plug her in.
She starts on the first try even when the temp is down to -20 or so.
