Water Issues

I have a 2004 XLT super cab, and i've been having some issues with the front passenger side carpet staying dry. I've read the thread about the possibility of a door sill leak and the condensation line not being long enough, but i don't seem to be getting that volume of water. when i don't have my rubber floor mats down, the carpet stays dry. is it possible that the rubber floor mats are causing maybe some very small amount of water that may be present to condensate and come to the top? when they get wet, i can run my ac on the floor vents for about 5 minutes and the carpets will appear bone dry again. any ideas?

if it's not rain then it could be heater core or AC leak. Sounds like your on the right track; continue with the trouble shooting try to look up and behind the carpet
