Body lifts are cheap, but there is alot to consider. Anything that is attatched to the body and the frame will have to be extended. Transmission linkage and things along those lines.
I looked into it and a body lift wouldnt be worth the trouble for wut i use my truck for. Heres my problem; my truck is a 2x4 and i have 33"x12.5" tires on it. Theres no rubbing or any problems with them other than the fact the front end looks like its sagging low with those tires on it. Is there a way on a 2wd to raise the front end up a bit without throwing camber way off??
Troy: I have a 67 F100 2WD truck with a heavy Buick 455 engine in it, and the front end sagged a lot. I ordered heavy duty springs for the front, which installed w/o modification and raised the front of the truck about 2-3 inches. I think my springs were from a F-250, but maybe you could go to an F-350 spring if needed. If you have to have your camber reset, anygood front end shop should be able to set your camber if they have the proper fixtures to bend(yes, bend) the twin I beams for proper alignment. Good Luck. Tbob, thanks for the idea i wasnt sure if that would actually work or not but i might just try it. Did u need a spring compressor when you changed yours out?
