Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags

Has anyone installed ride rite air bags on the f-150's? Is there any drilling required? Where would be the cheapest place to get the Firestone air bags?

i have them.... they are AWESOME !!! install is super easy. what year is your truck? the 04-08's do not require any drilling. the install will take about 30 minutes for the first side, and then half that for the second. although not required, i would recommend also getting a compressor kit. yes, it will double the cost, and probably quadrouple the install time, but WELL WORTH IT IMO. i bought mine from 4wheelparts a couple years ago, and i paid about 450 for the bags and compressor kit.

Bud..I had em on mine. Very easy install, no drilling required. I had the left/right plumbed together and a single air valve...this way pressures would be equal on both sides.

I got mine off of e-bay ("Performance Suspensions"??) and they were pretty inexpensive (apprx $200). They worked great for the little time I had them installed before I had to sell the truck due to job insecurity...big mistake in retrospect!

I have them on my 02. They did require some drilling, took about 1.5 hours to install. They are awesome for pulling my boat.

I got mine from Summit, $215 shipped.

Ditto on Summit Racing. I have the Air Lift bags and would go with the Firestones next time. When you compare the two packages, the Air Lifts have thinner lines and all plastic fittings, the Firestone has brass fittings and overall looks like a better built and better value set up.
