power streering problem

power streering problem
on my 79 1/2 ton 4x4 351 when its ideling its very hard to turn but if u bring the revs up it turns very easy is my pump going bad???

that would be my guess or your idleing too low.

My 77 just had the same problem. I replaced the pump and it works great now.
