Steering column swap
I swapped out my reg steering column for a column with tilt and cruise on my 88 150. Everything is the same except the horn dead shorts in the steering wheel. It appears that the tilt has two grounds in the wiring and when the horn is depressed it shorts. I can take the horn pad out of the regular column and it works fine. Is this normal? Anyone know why this does this? I would have thought the wiring would be identical except for the addition of cruise.
