**HELP No start!!
Well, my 2005 F-350 lariat 6.0 psd did not start for me this morning, had to get my dad to give me a ride to work. It cranked really strong but did not fire, anything i can check before i get it towed to the dealer? It was not too cold last night, bout 40 deg, i did have it plugged in all night.

Can you read any codes in your msg centre? How much fuel in tank, when did you last do fuel filters? Also, can you check for fuel in the top bowl when you have someone crank for you. Its messy but would prove you are getting fuel. Do you have an alarm and remote start which could be interfering?

It just happened to me a week ago. Same thing. It ended up being problems with the high pressure oil system. dealer said my pump went bad and replaced it along with all the necessary fittings. Like someone told me earlier, it was probably a fitting that lost pressure rather than the oil pump going bad. None the less, if that is what it is, you are stranded and will need a tow. Check fuses and fuel cut off switch.
