Spark plug questions

What year truck has the udated plugs that corrected the "break when removing" issue? I assume that the newer plug can be retrofitted to earlier trucks to prevent this problem, yes?

newer trucks have a different head, so no, you cannot retrofit them to fit the 04-07 5.4 engine

supposedly the late model 2007/2008 models have a revised head design with different plugs.
