boat towing
i was with my cuz he ask for my help to towing my aunts 500k boat to winter storage my dad said take ur gun i got a bad feeling so i took my m14 damn 6.4 is a gutless motor i have towed that boat with my 6.9 sever times no prolems the gutless f450 was straining to get to freeway speeds but wait the best part so guy pulls up next to us when we were at a stop light rolls down his window and says give us the boat and truck he had a what looks like a 22 pistal could fit in my hand so i roll down my window and point my m14 at him and said get out of her before i cut u in half the look on his face was pricless he tore out of there lol i love cali full of crack head and stonners

I can't help but wonder if they detuned the 6.4 after what happened earlier. I know some dealers will speed govern a performance car that is used by some one street racing.
Maybe its still in the PCM beak in time? not that I care, I'll never own one.

No, the engine was not detuned, it just sucks. (a mused about the 6.4L being detuned after the rear drive shaft was broken)

i live in nothern cali if u read my post its offical i hate xmas read that and u will know where iam going david85 asked if the dellership detune his engine after they void his warrteny cause he was doing burnouts and spolled turbo launch and snapped his drive shaft oh and dave his engine is broke in cause he had me do it for i put 700 miles on that truck in a day

Maybe. =) Anyway, 500K pound boat? That's like a 65' shrimping boat with an all steel hull hull! Did you mean a 5,000 lb boat?
How big was it, and how deep was the hull? Around here, people like to tow center console fishing boats, but the weight can vary greatly if it's a super deep-V or a flats boat. I pity the suckers who blow money on bulky SeaRays etc. with a cabin or heavy inboard engines
Were you taking the boat out of the water onto the trailer, or just dry-hauling from one spot to your winter storage spot?
