key fob

quit working and just replaced battery still doesnt work. worked just fine till other day truck is 05 f250 sd with v10

If you have an owners manual, it should describe this procedure. Turn the ignition key on and off 8 times, I think the door locks will cycle, and then push any key on the key fob. See if that fixes it.

I think you have to reprogram the FOB once you remove the old battery..... like he says above....

The fob should still work after you change the battery. If not, reprogramming it should do the trick. If that still doesn't work, your new battery may be dead.

...and are you SURE you installed the battery the correct side up?
