Hi,
I need the plastic piece that attaches to the key lock assembly. It pivots the door lock rod up and down. Niether Ford dealers nor junk yards will part with this piece unless I buy the entire lock assembly or the door itself with lock assembly entact. No deal.
Auto body shops always have an assortment of lockrod clips.
It may not have a separate *Ford* part number, but a place like Au-ve-co definitely supplies it to them.
I can go to a U Pull it yard and find these peices all day long. You probably wont even need any tools to get any either since alot of door panels and glass have been removed already.

Welcome to FTE
And the year and model is?
Please...when asking questions, list all the pertinent details.
Your profile says you have a 1994 F250...is that correct?
If so...your dealer is LYING to you as the clip is available separately.
D9BZ5421952B .. Lock Cylinder Clip
MSRP: $5.82 / FTEpartsguy.com price: $3.49
Fits: 1990/96 F150/250 / Fits: Dozens of different passenger cars (Mustangs, Fairmonts, etc.) from 1979 thru 1998.
Most autoparts stores sell these clips, take the old one with you as there are dozens of different types.
btw: I just searched every Ford dealers parts inventory in the US, only one dealer in Florida has it: Palmetto Ford Truck in Miami has FOUR: 305-592-3673.
If you cannot find it there, or at an autoparts store, Green Sales Co. in Cincinnati OH has 60 = 800-543-4959.
To all of you who provided me with information to obtain the lock part, I thank you so much for your help. I am so glad there is a fraternity of Ford truck owners that are willing to take the time to respond.
Thank you again

Hi rebocardo,
Thanks for responding to my "plight", but what I'm looking for is the plastic piece that pivots on the key lock assembly moving the lock rod up and down.
Somewhere in the translation, the door clip became the part I am looking for.
