Well I just found myself a present only we all would appreciate. On my way traveling back to work today saw an old Ford sitting along a tree line. Knocked on the door and the guy was willing to part with it. Low and behold its a 79 F250 with a D60 front! I get to go pick it up next weekend. Figured I would never find one like everyone else does. $800 isn't the greatest deal but there is a lot of good parts on the truck and the engine is suppose to have like 10k on a rebuild so can hopefully sell some of that stuff off.
sounds great. was it really your birthday, or are you pulling our leg?LOL anyways pics are great to express stuff like this. that D60 if in good shape is worth a lot by itself as we all know.
Oh yeah...it was really my birthday...turned 25! Am a young guy but love all the old stuff. It just made me tickled pink to look underneath and see kingpins!!! I never thought I would stumble across one just sitting around. And its only been the 2nd truck I ever decided to stop and ask if it was for sale.
I can't post pictures except when I post some stuff to sell.
well, you think you're young....I'm 17, and for a while here we had a 14 year old on the forums. he'll be back in February. and there are many young guys on this site.
