Firewall Water Leak

2001 f-250 Crew Cab with a drip inside the cab on the drivers side between the door and the firewall. The drip creates a dead shot which drains my battery in 1-2 minutes. I am really getting tired of having to cover my truck whenever it rains. Anyone with knowledge of the path for rain shed on this truck?

Are all the seals on the firewall intact?

If so, it may be a windshield seal.

Are you the original owner? If not, did someone pass electrical wiring though the access plug in the firewall? Possibly did not seal it correctly? My son did it to my 2002 ... shorted out the fuse panel.

Also check the hood seal weather strip. Mine got clogged with leaves and crap and wouldn't drain rain water. (Caused water to drain on coil packs and boots...caught it intime fortunately).
