2003 E-550 Super Duty Help
Hi everyone,
I need to know if anyone can help me please find out about my 2003 E-550 Super Duty. I have trying to find shocks, (Other then OEM) for my truck. So far 7 out of 8 Ford Dealers have never even heard of the E-550. Told me I do not have one and they do not exist.
Spoke with a couple of shock companies and cannot help either. They ask to find out what else might crossover.
I trying to find out if the F-650 or 750 are based off the same chassis as the E-550 or not. The F-53 motorhome chassis is totally different.
It does have leaf spring front with a GAWR of 6,000 lbs. Solid forged I-beam axle with gas shocks. 35mm bore and 580mm extended length.
The rear is 11,500 lbs. 35mm bore shock shaft and 703mm extended length.
But I would appreciate any info. that can be shared or a direction to be pointed in.

Wow, an E-550? I thought at first that was a typo, but I guess not.
If you go to this site and look up the shocks based on mount type, length, bore and such you'll probably find what you need.
