ditch recovery
i got a call about 10pm tonight that one of my co workers went in the ditch and his radiator blew up. 2 broken tow straps before finaly running back home to get a heavy duty chain and then pulled him out, the cop that was blocking 1 lane of traffic for us was starting to get impatent when i had to run back to get a chain. after i pulled him out i found out that he could not get his steering wheel unlocked in the snow to get the key to turn and take it out of park...lol so i pulled him out of that with his truck in park

Is that an Explorer? If so, they don't have jack diddly for recovery points on the front or rear from the factory. After being caught with my britches down once in my Explorer I put tow hooks on the front of the truck and bought a tow hook draw bar for the hitch.

Nice. I got a call at 6:45 this morring that 5 of my freinds got stuck and needed a pull. The mud was the type that fills up the tread and turns your A/Ts into drag slicks. needless to say they are still out there suck after my truck got stuck 2 times. I was an hour late to work so I had to leave as soon as I got out the second time.

My buddy got stuck when we had about 1/4 inch of ice here the other day. luckily, I still had the track hoe on the trailer, I just pulled the track hoe out to him, thru a chain around his reece receiver, and lifted the whole back of the truck off the ground and swung it around, did the same with the front, looked kinda funny for a wrecker wanna be....LOL
