Slow to start when cold

I live in AZ so dont blast me when I say cold is 40 deg. but since the temps have dropped here my truck battery seems to have a tough time turning the truck over in the mornings, it is just the firsat time in the morning the rest of the day it is fine, I suspect maybe battery cables but not sure I have yellow top optimas in it that are maybe 1 yr old, they seem to be ok and the alt is putting out 14 volts. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Put a test light on your GPR and wait until the light goes out, then try to start. If it fires up quicker after the light goes off, then you've got weak batteries or a bad connection/corroded cables.

Check the cables and connections especially the connection at the starter, cleaned the corrosion from mine and made a world of difference.
