Tires and wheels
I have an '82 F150, 2wd. The current wheels are 15" X 6" with a 4" backspace and a 27" tall tire. I want to put 16" X 8" wheels, with either a 4 1/2" or 5" backspace and run BF Radial T/As;
REAR--295/50R16, 12.2" overall width, 9.5" tread width, 27.6" tall
FRONT--265/50R16, 10.9" overall width, 8.6" tread, 26.5" tall
Please let me know what you think on backspacing and if I can turn the wheel stop to stop without rubbing on the front.
