Anybody here in NM have an NP435 4-speed they want to sell for a 1966 F-100?? Mine is toast and I need to get a new one. If not, anyone know who sells them around Albuquerque besides the junk yards? Thanks a lot.

Wish I could help buddy. Only one I came across was for my Early Bronco. Ended up swapping in a C4 instead of the NP435 because I drove that one every day to work. Didn't need the granny gear on a daily driver.

Sold it to my buddy. Rebuilt it and put it in his EB.

I may still have some contacts from the local EB community (I used to run NMEB.net) and see if anyone knows of one locally?

Also, try calling Joe at El Mexicano Truck Salvage. Tell him Eddie sent you. I doubt he has anything that old. But, may be able to point you in the right direction?

Thanks a lot. Any help at this point is very helpful. I can't seem to find one anywhere. I will try El Mexicano. Also, how difficult was it to convert to the C4? I was thinking about going to a C6 but it seems like it is a lot of work. Do you know if a column shifter can be converted to the floor shifter? Thanks again for the help.

When I swapped from my 3 speed to my C4, I pulled all the clutch assembly out of my Bronco. Had to disassemble the pedal assembly to get the clutch pedal out. That was probably the most difficult part. But, still fairly easy. Then, the Auto is a plug and play. Only thing to concern yourself with is the shifter. I ran the B&M Mega Shifter on the floor. Came out SWEEEET!!! Has a ratchet shift for quick shifting without over shifting if you like to race.

I have a C4-D20 adapter in my storage. Honestly, it's BEST to find a C4-D20 already assembled (if that's the route you are going). But, if you find your self hunting for parts... let me know...

I called El Mexicano and they didn't know of anybody that would have that tranny and they didn't have one. As far as a plug and play like you said, other people on the forum told me I would need to shorten my axle, get transmission cooling lines, a kickdown linkage, and something else I think. Is that not true or does some of it need to be done? Thanks again for the help.
