OK, a photographer I am not. And with the drizzly weather, this is the best I can do for now...
It's truly a phenomenal vehicle. Once the weather clears I will get some interior shots, as I believe that is even better than the exterior. The Sony NAV and moonroof make for a sweet ride.
Yes, I know, no trailer tow mirrors. When I was picking through options in May, they weren't on the choice list...
wow another platinum. they still are beautiful. Has anyone got any other version of the 09 other than platinum, like a king ranch or something or just even an base model. i would like to see pics of those to on another topic. but yeh great looking truck. how you liking it so far?
I love those trucks, they truely are the nicest truck I have ever drove. I work for a Ford dealer as a lot attendent, and our platinum was on the lot 1 day. Congrats and I love the color.

Go to thread "First 1900 miles." Go to post #38 for pics. Lariat model. I got the Lariat because I like chrome! You couldn't get the chrome bumpers, grill, chrome tube steps, and 20" chrome wheels on the Platinum.
I like the blue color on this truck! I now have over 3700 miles on my Lariat. No problems yet. Great truck. Enjoy your new truck!
Good to see you got it man. Looks nice. You will end up loving it more and more as time goes on. What you think of them power running boards? People double take the truck because one sec it has a step next second it's gone lol.
Love the power boards. I run about 325 lbs and they stand up to me and one of the kids at the same time. The power out is controlled through the message center on the dash (INFO SETUP RESET buttons above the NAV)
Congrats on a great looking truck. The more I see of these 09 F-150's the more I think I'm gonna have to go test drive one even though I won't be in the market for a new truck for at least a few years. Oh, and the blue was a very nice choice!

Sorry, away from electronic communications for the weekend...
Yes, power and ride is excellent. I did notice a lot of downshifting at higher speeds, but it had plenty of pedal and very good acceleration. Very smooth ride, even on small county rock roads, very minor wind noise (nothing compared to my diesel Excursion), handles well with the big Pirellis, love the center shift and console, and, yes, that is a 2" front leveller. Got to get the headlights adjusted now. Added a Weatherguard in-bed box, Xtreme spray-in liner, front window tint, and need to grab some type of bed cover this week... The NAV/Sony is a must.
Is that the 5.5 bed it looks just like the one that was on ebay a few weeks ago and was gone round the time you bought yours. I think that it was your truck on ebay for slae before you got it !
Ah, not likely. Ordered this one back in June and picked it up from the dealer within 20 minutes of its getting off the truck. And, it is the 6.5 foot bed.
