drove down to Arizona couple days aqo, just missed the previous snow storms so roads were doable pulling 5th wheel. Noticed a few trucks in Montana and Utah but did not stop to look.
Will hang around Tucson and Phoenix, then head back New Year's day.
The weather in Tuscon should be improving rapidly, it's just about centered on Albuquerque now. This weekend is going to be great weather (for winter, anyway).
If you drive "the back way" out of Tucson (up to Globe, pick up US 60 to ShowLow and then go up to I-40) you'll see some beautiful country, although pretty twisty for a 5th wheel -- check the weather first! You'll be crossing the Mogollon Rim, a good climb, and lots of old mining towns. Usually good for sightseeing and scouting old vehicles. Lots of deer and elk, don't try it at night!
