Injector Problems 2003 several times

Yes, I am in Paola Midway is out by WOF. Shawnee Mission Ford is a good place my Dad was a Tech there for several years. Still know a few people up there. I took it to Midway because I have had a little trouble from a couple of dealers. I figured diesel is what they do all day everyday, and thought they have seen more of them than anybody.
It sure acts like a fuel delivery issue. Now hopefully they will do something for me since I just spent $16xx on 4 injectors that did not fix the problem.

I have gone 99.9% of the time to Shawnee Mission Ford and .1% to Olathe Ford (for non motor work).

The dealer I had the most trouble with is in Bolivar, MO. I don't much care for Olathe,Ford either.
The truck is fixed now, running great. One of the brand new injectors had a bad seal in it.
I think Midway will be my service center from now on. Even though it broke down on the way home. They were very quick in making it right.

alot of injector failures are caused by low fuel pressure, the excess fuel cushions the spool valve during operation and when there is not enuff fuel the injectors literally beat thereselves apart, ive seen injector solenoids break off the top of the injector

That was the cause of a failure with my injectors, low fuel pressure. Banged the hell out of one and the tech had to replace all 4 on that side because he couldn't get them to reseal properly. Total bill for that was $3k. $1200 from my stimulus check last spring so I guess Ford got a handout after all.
