Sometimes shimmy sometimes not??????
I have just gone on a long trip and noticed that sometimes (not all the time) when I put on the brakes there is a substantial vibration. I was thinking rotors until it stopped doing it all of the time. During the trip this would also occur even when not applying the brakes! Again it would come and go, not a constant thing. There seemed to be no pull to either side, and sometimes the road was bad but this would also occur on a perfectly new road. I have searched the posts but have been unable to figure it out. Please help.

Yes getting a shimmy with and with out brakes, but it is intermittent. Where does the stabilizer mount. I am not a trained mechanic but am mechanically competent.

look like shocks mounted along the tierod...
