So, I think I might have somehow toasted my block heater element. It's been super cold here the past week or so, and one night I got home late. Engine was fully up to temp when I got home, and I plugged her in right away and went to bed. Next morning she's stone cold. I looked at most of the length of the cord and don't see any shorts, but I will reinspect this weekend. Other than a toasted element or a short in the cord, is there any thing else I need to check? A fuse or some such?
Nope ..no fuses.
Check the cord thats the most common problem.
Elements usually last pretty good.
Check where you plug in , I once thought mine was bad and it was the plugin on the wall that was not working.

The outlet is good. I use cords that have lighted ends, and the light's working fine.
