Facts 's facts. I could pretend everything is better on a Dodge but that's stupid thinking. I'd actually like to know if someone has or does something better. I'm not blindly brand loyal.
One thing I forgot is that the Ford axle gives you better ground clearance too.

Yea if we could just build our own using all the best components life would be great and it would be geared for what we need not what is available.

You could buy a brand new SuperDuty, drive it into the shop and have someone take off the radiator cap. Then have them stand there while somebody drives a Dodge in. Install the radiator cap on the Dodge and presto! You're ready to roll.

Well the S.D. sure doesn't.
I'd say that was the best mid-late 70's truck.
I'd rather have a 60s-early 70's PowerWagon CrewCab but the Ford would be my second choice.
The rear seat lacks a little leg room for me in those Fords but I wouldn't be riding back there anyway.
I'll bet it's hard to find one w/ A/C.
