Hey guys/gals.....lots of you asked about my tires when I bought them, and I've had them most of the year now, thought I'd post some results. In the Mud....these tires are INCREDIBLE. They never seem to gum up, instant cleanout pretty much, BFG did an outstanding job with the tread design. On the highway, I have had louder tires (Super Swamper) but these are fairly loud also, but the tread is very aggressive......can't expect a tread like this to be that quiet. They have a slight tendency to grab the ruts in the highway compared to my BFG All Terrains. Not crazy wild......but it's noticeable. In deep snow, I am not impressed at all. They tend to dig down immediately, and bog down the heavy frontend, in deep snow conditions they don't hold a candle next to the BFG AT. On snowy & icy conditions on the city streets and highway I am very impressed though! Always seems to keep grabbing even on heavy ice.....definitely feel safe driving on the slick stuff! I haven't had a chance to get them out in the sand this year, but I am guessing they would do okay if aired down properly. My tires are 315/75/16's mounted on 16x8 rims. There ya go! I would give these tires about a 7 outta 10. Not sure what I'll go with next time around.....not intending to make this a "my tire is better then yours thread" Just posting results. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Thanks for the review Travis. I am still trying to figure out what tires I am going to put on my new 18's. I was thinking about the BFG A/T's since you have had both which would you rather have the KM2's or the A/T's?

Reps sent for the write up too..
Well.....comparing the KM2's and the A/T's is sorta like apples to oranges, but it's what I had to go by........the reason I sent with the KM2's is my truck isn't a daily driver anymore. It's pretty much just my hunting/towing rig. For what I'm using it for....I'd definitely stay with the KM2's. If I was still logging lots of highway miles, All Terrains without a doubt!
Travis, I've always run muds on my other trucks, felt it was the right thing to do with a 4x4. Now that I've upgraded to a full ton rig, I'm gona downgrade to A/T's. Think it's more practicle for what I do, and thats the clincher. Can't beat the look af some agressive mudders, though. Good looking rig, enjoy the winter over there. Great write up too.
Great write up travis, so how many miles have you put on them and how are they wearing. I will proably go with some A/Ts my next go around.
I've only put around 8,000 miles on the truck this year. The tires look GREAT, like brand new, and I put those suckers through HELL during Elk season, lots of rocky terrain, and not exactly "easing" over it
Good write up Trav. In those 8k miles, do you know how much they wore down?
I know for myself I always curious at the longevity aspect of a tire!
I don't know for positive Sheldon, I never took any type of measurements. These tires will last me for years though, it will take me quite awhile to get the 30,000 miles that I expect out of em. Since I just got the Polaris, even longer!
