Spartan tune with DPF
Is anyone running the Spartan tuner with their DPF still on??? If so how is it working for u. (ie...response, smoke etc) Thinking of a Spartan but might start with the DPF on first. Baby steps first.....

I have the Spartan DPF-on tunes. I like it vey much. MPG gains are modest, but I do also have improved performance. No problem w/ smoke. Active regenerations are the same duration & frequency as before the tuner. I do also have the AFE CAI which made the biggest difference in the truck in reference to regens. Truck runs great. Hope this helps you w/ your decision.

That's true, wreckit72. However, it's so much easier to switch back to stock if necessary by just reloading the stock tune than it is to do the hardware swap too. Also, you'll be all set for the upgrade when you feel it's time to do the DPF delete.

im running the spartan tune im running the 210 tune with a true flow intake and 4 inch MBRP exhaust adn delete pipe but still hae to gut the cat but i love every moment of the tuner and wouldnt look back at the warranty
