ive seen some of the powerstrokes that come from factory with a plug threaded in where the block heater goes u pull the plug and install the blockheater if u want it

Well, we crawled under the truck, looked around and low and behold, there it was zippped tied and tucked up out of the way!

I'm thinking that you'll want to do this when you flush your coolant. IIRC the block heater heats the coolant, so it must therefore be in the coolant path, yes? So pulling that plug would let your coolant out of the block.
