Those motors must be quite a bit different than the old SBC motors then. I had to do my wife's Suburban a couple of years ago and it wasn't too bad, probably took an hour or so.
The 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L must be a lot different, never worked on one.
I wish I had a litle run around car. Since my motor converted itself to a boat anchor in My F350 I've been driving my budget wheeler jeep around, Its kinda cold with no doors in the winter and of corse the one winter I dont have a vehicle with doors it snows in vegas twice.
Hey Dodge you been collecting fords since I've been gone or what?

Yup, I'm the laughing stock of the neighborhood.
I think the only one I bought since you were away was the Power Stroke but I'm not sure.
I had the '90 CC gasser (for sale) and '97 460 (now I just run it around for a "yard truck" because I've robbed so many parts off of it) before I started coming on here a year ago or so.
The '94 I bought back in April because I was actually looking for it.
The '86 I bought just because I wanted a personal tool/service truck to replace the '97 460 and it fit the bill perfectly for $500 bucks.
The Power Stroke I bought just because it was only $2K and I couldn't pass it up. Mechanically it was perfect it just had some body damage so I have replaced all of the bent body panels so far except for the tailgate. My '97 460 and it are both white so the gasser has donated a lot of it's straight body parts now it's pretty much as straight as an arrow. Probably gonna sell it or trade it for an Excursion for a family rig.
