I don't like 14's, they aren't readily available at tire shops, I upsized to 15" rims choosing a 225/65 R15 which is the correct overall diameter with the G78R14 that came on them.

However, I am having trouble locating the right size as well. Any comments are suggestions is very much appreciated!

Thank you very much!
Since your van has 8 lug wheels (that were originally for 16.5" tires) I'd suggest 16" stock steel rims. They will fit, and if you get
Ford 16" wheels you can also snap on your original "dog dish hub cap" wheel covers (which will fit both 16" and 16.5" rims). 16" radial tires are available in a wider range of sizes and are more are affordable than tires for the rims. Be sure to choose LT (light truck) type tires of load range "D or E" (8 or 10 ply rating) because there are 16" car tires that you could put on there, but I wouldn't recommend that....
The 16" tires will probably carry metric size designations rather that the original inches sizes. Just ask your tire dealer to match the metric equivalent to the original inch size width and aspect ratios.

Thank you so much for the feed back!! I was able to locate some good tires. I have been having over heating issues with the van . I tried to replace as much parts as I can, including the radiator. But once i hit some traffic on the free way it starts to over heat again. Any ideas what I do to help this problem? Thank you all for the feed back!

Radiator replacement is NEVER going to correct it, they discontinued the heavy duty radiators, the only one sold now goes to the inline six and is marginal at best, you need to get one built, I've tried to find the stock HD radiator and has been a waste of time, many are using an aluminum radiator built for big block Chevys from 1960's cars. https://www.ebay.com/itm/162233873360?ul_noapp=true
I live by the Smokey Mountains, I've tried everything, will never go electric fan, burned one up from a company that builds race cars and runs them, went with a 6 blade flex fan, awaiting warm weather next year to swap the radiator yet again with the aluminum one for a Chevy.

This is what you should have, a 3 core one of these will be far ahead on keeping cool, it came in AC vans and heavy tow applications, it's the only option.

Mark,
Has Ross in Florida contacted you about the heavy duty radiator in the van he bought from me a couple of months ago? He agreed that he would send the radiator to you in exchange for your help getting this van from me. I wanted to be sure that you got that radiator.
Let me know please.
Steve

You'll have to find a van with some to salvage, there is no one reproducing them, a guy on FB did some cleaning and reconditioning some for his recently.

What size engine. If you tried all the usual suspect (radiator, thermostat, water pump) you may want to check if there is any head gasket problem or other leak from the engine.

Can anyone either send a picture or tell me the color code order for the voltage regulator on a 1970 E-100? I have the wiring diagram but it does not tell the connector positions. A couple of wires broke from it and now I don't know if I replaced them correctly since I have a voltage leak somewhere that is causing my battery to run down. It has 4 connectors and 5 wires. Thanks

Just bought a 69 E200 yesterday. $250 Of course it does not run. panel on drivers side and windows on passenger side. inline 6, 3 sp on the tree.

That is about all I can tell you about it. It needs a lot of "TLC", a whole lot. lol

But there seems to be very little rust I think, and just a little body damage on the passenger side which I think it will be easy fix.
The drivers front wheel was frooize up, brake drum only and itis missing the intake and exhuast manifold. I ahve not looked under it to see what rear axle it has or what gear ratio is in there.
It will need a new paint job. Looks like some one tried to brush paint on it. It looks like it has army green on it for the main paint.
The door hinges need to be replaced.

It is raining outside so it will be a few days before I can get in to see if there is anything specail about this rig.

HInts or suggestions will be welcomed. I will down load pictures when I get them.
