On my 74 I get a vibration when doing anything over 65 mph. I have new tires all around, new radius arm bushings, and a new center link or drag link (the one that goes from the pitman arm to the right side). Any ideas, everything underneath appears solid I can not find any loose parts, the tires a less then a month old. Any ideas please. TIA

Jack up each tire one at a time and grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to move it top to bottom (push top, pull bottom...) and this should tell about the wheel bearings. See if each wheel spins freely and little drag.
If the wheel bearings look good, I'd have the tires re balanced.
The question i have: did the vibration start AFTER the tires were installed? we need to answer this first. the tires may not be balanced correctly, as as you can slap a wieght on 'em and think they are balanced, or you can let a pro do it on his computerized wheel balancing machine as this will balance both sides of the wheel assembly.
Well here is where the problem stands, on the advice of the list and some message board traffic I replaced the front wheel bearings both sides, and rotated my drive shaft 180 degrees. I still have the vibration (or more like an interment shutter above 65) that I feel in the steering wheel. I know I have worn out shocks could that be the problem? Or do I need to try and have the drive shaft balanced? Could the carrier bearing be going out? All the tires are new I have all the weights on them and the shutter was prior to the new tires. TIA

I'm a little late to the thread here but my truck has a similar problem. From 55 to 75 it has a sort of shudder that runs through the vehicle about every 3 seconds. It's more noticeable on some roads than others. There is no noise associated with it like a bearing might make. I've tried everything but wheel bearings and shocks which "should" be good.
