Cool truck problems

i have a red puddle under the front of my truck i know its tranny fluid and i was wondering what its coming from and how much its going to cost me

Check your lines to the radiator/trans cooler. Sounds like their coming from a connector for them if it's up front.

Also check your PS system. My 94 had a leaking seal on the gear box. Some PS systems have a cooler in front of the rad.

its on the passanger side and its red fluid how much will it cost me to fix it cant do it myself cuz i dont have a garage or the time to do it

You need to ID where it is coming from first.

That plow is putting more stress on the steering, so it could be the leak, but the front passenger side could be the steering or the tranny cooler lines.

I bet it is coming from the 8 inch long rubber hose that connects the metal lines just under the radiator on the passenger side. Its a couple of hose clamps and a new peice of hose. So, its inexpensive to fix. Make sure you get fuel line hose. I tried to fix mine with regular hose for the radiator/heater and it didn't hold up to the fluid. I put a peice of fuel line hose on it a few years ago and it has done a great job.

i usually just find the leak by looking above the puddle.

i found the spot its under the radiator the metal tube cracked on the bend how much is fuel line hose

got the truck fixed it was the hose inside the grille the rudder hose seperated from the metal hose
