How bout that weather?!

So yeah, woke up this morning, and its minus 37, without the wind, minus 49 with the wind!

Coldest temperature I ever worked was minus 38(or so) without the wind up in wabasca (not sure what the windchill was but it was cold) and one time we had to put up a cattle shelter and it was minus 55 with the wind!

Too damn cold!

No let up on the cold. even Christmas is forcasted in the -30's and then -22 for a high. It'sgoing to be a cold winter.
My 85 is at my inlawsnot plugged in. Have to take a extension cord long enough to plug it in and start it this week.
The week following Christmas if this cold I will stay home. Booke dit off from work. Going repanel around my ugly bath tub. It has this panel board around it and it is rotting. I will repanel and put the vynyl plastics cover over it. At least it will be easier to clean and maintain til I can afford a full bathroom reno.
So that is one thing about the cold. A person stays indoors and and does home fixings.

It was?
The Escort broke down again today. Doing the same as last week. Plus the battery was frozen and we got my inlaws to buy a new battery and drove it out to us. To no avail. Found its block heater also not working. Motor pretty damn cold. I need a hoist to change the block heater on the Escort. Located at back of engine above the starter. Only get at it from under the car.
Drove me in with long exrension cord to plug my truck in where it was parked since last Thursdays Hospital trip. Then to work for the afternoon. Back to my truck and it started. Got home tonight and trying to fit everything into the truck tomorrow. Wife staying in the city for next few days again.
Heard this cold snap not going to let up for a week or two.

Tomorrow I`m heading into look at a blade for the Bobcat since I found a used one from a hospital, I presume it`s from the Royal University Hospital. Know anything about it Glen?

Yeah it was about minus 35 this morning instead of 37 haha.

On weathernetwork.ca it says for december the 28th there will be a high of minus 13. That will be like damn summertime! I hope that weather stays around for awhile, but it probably wont.

Everything was stiff out here today too, i left my truck alone, and plugged in the honda in case we needed a vehicle. I found out it wont start without it being plugged in at minus 37 and a windchill of minus 50 though haha.

Possibly fromthere. They now take the Bobcats to all sites to clean snow. They had quite a few blades and then one day they hauled them away to scrap. No one even given a chance to see if we could buy them. They needed some TLC. But me on the acreage, I would of made use of them. Plus now they are starting to contract out the snow clear at the hospital. But they still use the Bobcats for clearing sidewalks and parking lots. Then the contractors comeandload and haul away the snow.

Hey Preppy. This is square tire weather. When I got my 85 going today. Notice the bump bump as the wheels go around.
