misfire code clarification
my 04 excursion 6.0psd started rough idle and smoking this week (cold and warm). 6-12 months ago same thing but only when cold, ran okay when warmed up. still under warranty then (not now) i took it to dealer and 3 injectors where bad. relpacement was expensive ($1200+ i was told) but only $100 under warranty. this time i ordered a code checker - it came yesterday and gave P0307, misfire cyl 7. now for my question - finally!
since no mention of injector problem could it just be the glow plug for that cyl?
i would like to save money but also know that getting in there to replace just the gp then have to go in again for the injector will cost me time. does anyone have some time i could borrow or purchase?
