Just make sure the pictures are not too large. You can see the max file size in Barry's post above. The other option would be to upload the photos to your picture gallery so you don't have to resize them.
Once their in your gallery, you can view the picture, right click it and select copy image location, then in your thread select the
button above the reply box and paste the location in the pop up window you get after hitting the button.

One other way is to use a photo storage site and use their forum posting codes. This uses their storage and not FTEs. I like tinypic.com. Still size your photos down to around 800x600 max to make viewing easier.
