Just finished with the TPS and sure enough where you last test is the problem. Sensor was fine but who ever installed it didn't have a clue. Reset base idle and for now all is well with the 302. Thanks everyone for all of your support and help

Mr Conanski was totally correct. Problem was in the TPS installation. Checked the voltage with the settings and was way off the mark. Flow was smooth so I reset the base idle to where it should be and my truck is idling fine. Thanks for all your help. Great site.
