Time off for Christmas

Just wondering what you are all getting off of work for Chrsitmas.
I have been blessed with ALOT of time off for the Holidays.

I am getting a half day off for Christmas Eve WHICH IS A COMPLETE JOKE (assuming no equipment gets called off rent i a out of town location which will probably happen)
AND I am getting Christmas day off, back to work on boxing day...... Soo much for getting work done on my old toys

I was off on Nov. 20 something and unless there`s tons of snow I won`t likely go back in any major way till April 10 something.
There`s my normal winter program in preventive maintenance servicing and equipment painting but nothing major at this time.
Of course there`s not much in the way of pay either.....

I get partial day on 23rd, and 24,25,26 off with paid stat holiday. then go back to work 29,30,31, and then 1st and 2nd off. So not too bad a fairly descent holiday. Considering i just went back to work this week after 2 months off for school. lol

I've got the 24th and 25th off. Then on for 7 more 12 hour shifts, 3 days off and then 7 more. Oh well, gotta pay for Christmas somehow. I do have this weekend off, so I'll do most of my Christmas stuff then. Unfortunately, I'm also on call for this weekend. I not get anything at all. Time will tell.....

Sorta long haha. I got an acl surgery (work related) in august, been messing around with wcb alberta ever since. Im off work till my knee is back 100 percent for my job. Since I work a heavy labourous oil field job, its taking awhile. Surgeon wants to see it heal really good, and if it was up to workers comp I would have been working the day of my surgery!

Just a big joke, and it has involved me driving back and forth to edmonton every week, this week will be three trips back and forth!

I have the regular days off 24 & 25th and the 1st and I took the second off as well to make a long weekend. Although being at work is almost a holiday this time of year, just the odd truck to load and that is about it.

Sorry to hear about that Sheldon. Hope it heals well before you go back. Working while hurting is no fun at all.
