back seat mod
Has anyone tried to mod the back seat to slide forward and recline a bit. On long trips with the kids in the back a couple of degrees would make for a more comfortable ride, and keep us (me) out of the mini van.

I am guessing you have a Crew Cab. The factory seat bolts in to place and stays pretty well as is.
They do sell replacement seats though that will lay completely flat. They make both power & manual. i'll try and find the link for you.

At $800 to start, plus shipping... hmmm... I'm glad the dogs don't care. I remember seeing that you could add either one or both options: massage feature & heat. I don't see that from this place, but maybe there is another supplier. I'm sure they'd be glad to do more custom work to add those if you wanted them...

I had a Qualitex seat in the back of mine, powered forward/reverse, manually reclines and lays flat. It was in my truck when I bought it. PM me if interested.
