Hello all,
After looking at my truck and deciding it needed "something" I decided I should clean up the lines a little. My truck sits high so, consequently, the under portion of the body is visible so the spot welds and "unfinished" look of the under body are starting to wear on me. Have any of you done anything to improve the looks of it? I am thinking of making some chrome straps, for lack of a better term, that would bolt on with chrome bolts but, I am not sure how I could make it transistion smoothly to the bed from the cab? Here is a picture to better illustrate what I am talking about. Any ideas are welcomed, even if you think it would be too much to put anything on it and I should leave it as is.
This is the area I am talking about on the bottom of the body and then transitioning to the bed of the truck.
I plan on getting my truck Line-X'd over the lowest 3" of the body and the fender arches. Maybe look into that? I was quoted $165. Not a bad price IMO, but make sure to have them use the UV protectant, otherwise it looks grayish instead of black after a while.
