Gearbox Reverse

Long story. however I'm seeking the Reverse wire from the gear shift lever.
on a 2000 F250 superduty.

Any ideals what color it is ?

I don't believe there is one. I think it's a switch on the transmission. I think you might find it in the fuse panel as well, I am thinking there is a fuse/relay for the trailer backup wire.

I know in the 2005 up Super Duty it is a black wire with pink stripe on the lower passenger side of the fuse panel. Not sure if it's the same in the earlier trucks or not. You can see where I spliced into the wire on my truck in this photo. It's next to the bigger orange and yellow wires.
