vent window frames for '48 F4

Hey all,

I'm in desparate need of some vent window frames for a '48 F4. I went to Moultrie, GA last month but couldn't find any, I've searched ebay and haven't found any yet and I've also contacted an antique parts vendor to see if he had any. The vendor had two right door vent window frames for $100/each, but none for the left door.

Do any of you with parts trucks have any in good condition you'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price, or know of some other places to look for some?

thanks,

How soon will you need them?

I'll have an extra set after the ones I have at the Chrome shop are finished. Of course they've been up there for a year now and still aren't done. I guess I could go kick him in the shins or something.

Let me know.

Julie!

Julie, I will be interested to know what the chrome cost will be. I bought one NOS chrome one a long time ago to avoid the chrome costs.

Will the F-1 fit? I have a set with less than 60,000 miles on the pickup.

Julie,

When I got this truck it was taken apart and lots of parts missing so I'm still in the process of putting it together so I can take it apart again. :-) Long story short, I obviously will not need the vent window frames very soon, but would like to get a set within the next few months or so.

thank you,
David

Well, I already kicked him in the rear at 6 months, and this guys got no.....so that's all that's left.

Three weeks he told me (January 18, 2008) - still not done as of Thanksgiving!

Sure! All 48-52 F1-F6 had the same doors (with a few minor mods for locks and "Extra Cab" trim on the inside) (not sure about the doors on the big trucks, maybe them too).

I'll check with him after the Holidays. If they are done, I'll get back with you!

J!
