Little IDM help
I am doing the 140v mod today....cant find the pic of the resistor that has to be replaced...I know there is a # on it...just cant remember what it is though.

You'll be able to see it once you open it with that pic.
The resistor is marked either 6082 or 6083... Not sure which... but i think 3.
Edit: the board should pull out easy too... there's like 8 screws, IIRC, and four of them go through components on the board.

Yup...got it...Thanks!!!!!.....after freezing to get the IDM out...I guess it time to start sweating putting the resistor in

Lmao. It's not really that hard if you know how to solder. I used a regular heat iron, and regular solder... and it went without a hitch...

that's a good idea if you have them available. Grab a Exacto if you can, it'll be great for sliding under the old one while you remove it.

I just had some old radios and cd changers laying around that I broke apart.....then played with some radio shack resistors......only thing I have going against me is that I am doing it at the kitchen table and the wife is home today...I should have kicked the heater on this morning in the garage
