Mechanical Migrane

Today was fun.
6am- My Ford halfton drove and started ok (the highpoint of my day)
6:30am- My IH semi starts barely sounded like drums for about 2 minutes
- My Ford F650 plugged in refused to turn over
8:00am- Bayer crop science I found out all the trailior hydralics were frozen and unresponsive limit control valve kicked in
11:00am- I got the tilt working on the trailior but the axles still refused to move, Custom courier came picked off my load and delivered it.
12:30pm- back at the shop axles finally operated
2:30pm- after having a battery charger, 350000 BTU heater, booster cables the Ford F650 finally started

So the Ford F650 is now parked in the shop
I got the sliding axles retracted in the semi hopefully wont be frozen as bad in the long line. The 30 foot hydralic cylinder underneath my trailior has always been a pain in the cold

Tommorrow is going to be another fun day I have to go start a 125 foot boom te refused to start today and haul it home

Ahhhh, paid by the hour

Now just imagine if you were an O/O with all that crap to deal with today!

Sounds like one hell of a pain in the *** day though.

There`s isn`t a warm shop to park the trucks in over nite?
That seems very silly to me!

We found room for the small truck but the shop if full of broken and breaking equipment not enought room for a 53 foot trailior and a corn binder

Time to lease a building and get these units inside over the nights, at least while it`s this cold........
Take along a tiger torch when you go to start that 125 foot boom, maybe it`ll catch on fire when your warming up the oil pan........
