Yes but they sucked, go aftermarket if you can.

If you have an 8.8 now, there not worth investing in, get a 9"

they were both available with a limited slp, but as stated the factory units were not to good.
An aftermarket unit would be your best bet.

yeah i was hoping for a junkyard deal cause theres no way i can afford anything aftermarket to do with axles cept gears so i guess ill just stick with the 8.8 untill i can afford a selectable and a 9"

but im doing a d44 front hopefully by next summer but i gotta get the rest of the stuff out of the way first

There's lots of junk yard 9"s that will bolt right in.

my buddy did a D44 sas on his 95 F150 and plans on a sterling 10.25 in the rear. His plan is to swap to biger hubs and axles in the D44 and then swap in the 10.25 and have it all 3/4 ton 8 lug...

If the AXLE code on the Warranty Plate or Certification Label begins with a letter, the vehicle has Limited Slip.

If the AXLE code begins with a number: No Limited Slip.
