....Where is the aux. fuse box? I know how to use the search and I have spent 5 hours trying to find a thread on the exact location. My Hanes manuel says that on all years EXCEPT 02s the box is under the hood on the drivers side. The Haynes says that my aux fuse box is behind the glove box. I pulled the glove box out and down to reveal the backside and nothing behind it says fuse box and everything is WELL bolted down.
The reason I ask this is my 4 wheel drive is not engaging. It work on a 150 mile trip in the ice and snow here in New Mexico, but not on the way back.
I do not know what fuses or relays are involved with the 4 wheel drive system. Could someone please help me locate these because it's starting to snow again and I am down to my last nerve trying to find out how to START troubleshooting the Ford F-up.

Just a quick thought...if you are having problems engaging your 4wd, and you have ESOF, you might have a vacuum problem.
I believe that starting in '02, there is only one fuse panel and it is inside under the steering wheel. That's why I was wondering about tractorfan's comment of having an '02 with the two fuse blocks.

Mine has a fuse panel under the hood on the drivers side behind the air box. Also one under the steering wheel... Did some '02's have two or is mine maybe earlier than '02?

Could very well be. Wouldn't be that uncommon. I know that my previous PSD truck (late '99 superduty) had the two like you are describing but this truck only has the one.
