Sorry, but I see that a little differently. Thousands of our boys' (and girls'!!) lives have been lost. Letting it go to hell now means their lives were lost for nothing. I only hope this incoming administration sees it that way. They definitely need to step up, and are, but could certainly do it a bit more quickly.
Here's an example: The US Army combat team that was at the base with me over the summer is getting replaced by Iraqis. But you won't hear that news from the liberal media until Obama can take the credit for it...
Here is just one more example of using the OBAMA word and a quick negative comment....people still wanting to cry about OBAMA I see.

A lot of free Iraqis with families (like my neighbors) are in this country, and other countries, now. No matter which way the wind blows, these people are now free.
imho, This was assault and if I had thrown a boot (sorry - I don't own shoes) it would have been jail time for me, rightly so. I don't care in what country it happens or what someone's views are, assaulting a visiting president or dictator is bad business.
The fact that people around this loser let it happen speaks volumes about the quality of the individuals present.
This guy will lucky to still have his head in three weeks. I don't think Bush holds a grudge but Islamic law is another thing. I think the Iraqi's will take a much harsher view and he will be lucky to be seen in public again (at least with his head). THAT SAID...I have to give the guy some credit. Unlike American journalists he didn't whine, complain, belittle, and demean the Prez on the nightly network news. He said it (& threw it) at his face. He didn't wait until he back was turned, didn't stab him in the back, wasn't twisting the facts on his nightly broadcast to suit his own agenda unlike the anchors and correspondents you see on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc, etc etc.
I was pretty suprised at how agile bush is when I first saw that, he did give that guy a pretty good stare down to. I wonder why the secret service didn't swarm faster though?
