King County G2G

Hi I am ralatively new to FTE and this is my first time checking out the Washington Chapter.

I like knowing as many people as possable in my area with the same vehicular intrests and thus, I thought it would be cool to have a King County G2G. I have no Idea if it has been done before or how many would be interested. I am thinking it could benefit us all to have face time and get to know each other so we can help each other with our trucks in person, like we try to do on this site. And maybe put some fun runs together. I personally like heading up into the hills for a little wheelin and think it would be alot of fun with a bunch of other Ford trucks.

So is anyone interested? If so any suggestions on when or where? Tell us where you'd be coming from and we'll find a good area that is close for everyone.

Leo

Sure, when, where, and from the south end. I can teach you a few things about diesel power.

As to when I'm good next weekend but think it would make sence to wait and see how many we can get together and find a good time.

As to where I lay my head in Renton these days but was thinking an eastside location would suit more people better we'll see who's coming from where. Probably a park.

Deisels are the only area of mechanics I haven't masterd (maybe automatics also) and have little experiance. I need to learn more. However one of my good friends and a bigger Ford nut then I, is a powertrain engineer for Kenworth I'll get him to join us.

I look forward to G2G.

Best thing to do is to wait until we are through the holidays. There are several christmas parties this coming weekend I will be attending and sure others will be as well.

Most of the members are pretty close to the Seattle area...Given the right time frame, turnout should be pretty good.

I'm from Tacoma and I'd be in for a weekend G2G. Depending on time frame and location of course, and also if my wife goes into labor (she's due Feb. 1). If there's anyone else from the south sound area there are a couple of parks down here that we might be able to use for a south sound G2G.

Ok so at this point we have 5,
1. Myself/Opossum/Leo from Renton
2. Lostmybeer/Tom, from Auburn
3. Placermike, says your in Sequim would you be comming or are you just supporting the effort? That would be quite a drive.
4. rsdjcarter/Rob from Federal Way
5. greenwoodford, from Tacoma

We can do better then that, there's quite a few of us. Come on I'm sure there are alot of others reading this, thinking they might come but waiting to see what happens. Chime in so we can get this going and everyone can come.

So far it seems we should get together in the south end, Probably Aurburn where 167 and 18 meet. Suggestions?

Auburn would be good for me. I wouldn't be able to do any wheeling since my rig is down for a while and my trailer isn't done yet, but I could come hang out and get some face time in.

Sounds good I bet Lostmybeer has a favorite spot or two. Maybe a Ford truck friendly business would like to host.

There are several good spots meet up here in Auburn. If just a meet and greet type of shin dig, The Rock is a great place to meet up. There is also Red Robin at the Super Mall with plenty of parking as well.

If there are any other options, speak up

Is Big Daddys still there? I don't get to that part of town much anymore with the casino and the amphitheater I avoid it like the plague. Or maybe the A&W a drive in would be cool.
